I am able to only echo that. 1 could possibly be "superior" than the other depending upon the standards. Commonly, the 9mm has my vote and I personal much more 9mm handguns than .40S&W. My two PPCs can also be 9mm (Sub2000 & CX4). Having said that, I do much like the forty S&W
